JOHN DEMCHYSHYN Born June 26, 1932, passed away peacefully in his 86th year on September 11, 2017.
His life was beautiful and long, the road ahead was getting rough, the time to sleep was upon him, so he gently closed his eye’s and whispered, “Have fun.”
A wonderful loving father to Robert, Alison and Louis; father-in-law to Susanna, Ian and Melissa. Brother to Olga, Anne and Roman. Brother-in-law to Boris, Margie, Bronte and Barb. Beloved Dedo to Miya, Owen, Lily and Rebecca. Cherished uncle of Dawn-Ann and Leanne (nee Kirlik), Elizabeth Renta (nee Demchyshyn), Mark, Greg, Tammy (nee Yaroff), Greg, Bill, Dan, Susan (nee Dobosh) and Peter Wolchak. He is to be cremated. A service including a luncheon will be held at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 22, 2017. John’s family wishes to thank the staff at the Toronto Rehabilitation Unit for their wonderful care and compassion.
