John Keith Gourlay

John passed peacefully at Kensington Hospice the morning of December 31, 2020, after a two year battle with cancer. His wife, Lorelei, was with him.

John was 48, born on January 29, 1972 at the Doctor's Hospital, which once stood next to the Hospice where he passed. He was a loving and proud husband to Lorelei, son to Angela (Mike) & Cameron (predeceased), big brother to Caroline (Dan) & Andrew and uncle to Cameron & Catherine. John was a gruff softie with a heart of gold and a quick wit who gave 110% to the people he loved. He doted on his wife and his animals, and he was thrilled to finally have a dog. He is deeply loved and missed.

John wished to be cremated. Arrangements for a memorial will be made at a later time, when we can gather again. Donations to Kensington Hospice, who were so wonderful to John and to his family during this time, are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
