John Allan Haynes

We are very sad to announce that John (Jack) Allan Haynes passed away in his 95th year peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Tuesday March 25, 2025.

Predeceased by the love of his life Phyllis of over 64 yearsLoving father of Susan (John) Sandra (Jeff) Karen (Mait) Proud grandfather of Abby (Dennis), Patrick, JD (Mayanna), Clayton (Rose), Ryan and Ellie. Caring great grandfather of Henry, Oliver and Jacob.

Jack worked in the Insurance industry as Branch Manager and Independent Broker for 43 years. He and Phyllis travelled extensively. They entertained family and friends regularly. Jack was a fabulous cook. He loved skiing and woodworking. He was a competitive handball and racquetball player. If you were friends with Jack you were friends for life. He set an example for his family with a balance of discipline, motivation and fun.In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to a charity of your choiceThe family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
