OBITUARY FOR
JOHN LITTLEJOHN
16th August 1965– 15th July 2016
Gone is John Allan Littlejohn Jr. after a lengthy fight against Heart Disease. After many attempts to combat the affliction, including assisted heart pump, and finally an attempt at heart transplant, John lost his last battle.
Born in Vaughn Twns. and raised in North York and Aurora. John also spend many a time with relatives in Toronto throught out his adolesence. He would later on have many a destination he “would lay his hat” and call home, weather it was a short period of time or a bit longer.
Through those travels he made many aquantance and even a few friends,as well as a couple of not so friendly aquantances. There were good times shared and some not so good times. He wanted everyone to know that if he hurt their feelings, upset them, or even made a few of them cry, he truely did not intend to. He never had malice in his heart or intentionaly set out to hurt anybody, even if he unfortunately did so. He’d like to think that there were more pleasant memories than painfull ones and that when people looked back on him they might look back with a smile.
He loved all his relations dispite what might have been thought, weather they were from Lake Wilcox or Munro St.
He also wanted his wife, friend and companion of more than 25 years, Helen, to know that dispite a few bumps in the road, some much bigger than others, his love for her was true. He really did have her in his heart and that he loved her from the start and at the end and even beyond that. He will love and miss her in his eternal rest.To his Son he wanted him to know that he loved him as much as one person could love another and even though he might not have thought so, he made him very proud and glad to say he was his son. His hope was that Simon would go on to be the good, true and honorable man that he knows he can be.
Many of the same sentiments can be said regarding his brother Anthony and his mother Kathleen. Despite events thay have occured over the years, there was still love for each at the core of the matter. He loved them,no matter what!
He leaves behind many Aunt’s, Uncle’s, Cousin’s, and Niece and Nephew, and wonderfull Sister-in law. Much love and God’s speed to you all.
John has now gone on to rest with and navigate the after with his father, John Sr. now and takes with him blessed memories of all he knew and loved.
