John Arthur Pearce

Peacefully on Tuesday May 1st, 2018, at the Abbeyfield House in downtown Ottawa at the age of 74. Husband of Cynthia Nuzzi. Father to Alexander, Peter and Thomas. Brother to Geoff and brother-in-law to Gay. Son of the late Madeleine and Reginald Pearce. Survived by Jean Pearce (wife of Reginald). Graduate of Queen's University. Served in the Canadian Foreign Service from 1972 – 2010. In his career he lived and worked in foreign lands including Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Italy, Holland, Finland and the U.S.A. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends from around the world. A memorial will be held at the Ottawa Shambhala Meditation Centre on Saturday May 12th, 2018 at 1:30 PM. In his memory, the family would gratefully acknowledge donations made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
