Kars

It is with sadness, we share the passing of John (Jack) Murray Kuiack, at the age of 84. Surrounded by loved ones, on August 6th, Jack passed due to a heart attack, complicated by diabetes and other health-related issues. We will miss him dearly and will continue to honour his legacy by living our lives to the fullest and sharing his many stories with friends and family.

Jack was admired as a man of strong principles and integrity. His quick wit, and sense of humour never ceased to capture a smile or laugh from anyone he was with. He loved people and wanted to connect with them beyond a surface level – to know what made them tick.

Jack felt privileged throughout an amazing career with the Canadian Bank Note Company and made a great impact on their processes of print. He was highly respected among his colleagues. Jack was ahead of his time – always thinking about how to make the world a better place. He loved to read, and always had many books on the go, but was especially interested in the human brain – he often expressed his awe of God’s creations. He loved to share what he was learning and it was inspiring to hear him talk about what fascinated him most.

Jack is predeceased by his mother and father Frank and Della (Craig) Kuiack, and his brother Morley, and is survived by his loving wife, Joan Kuiack, his children: James (Deborah), Jeffrey (Kelly), John (the late Pauline), and Jennifer (Gregory); his many grandchildren: Matthew (Chelci), Katharine (Nick), Jaclyn (Jerry), Andrew (Lindsay), Ashley (Aaron), Amanda (Jadon), Shane (Mich), Jasmin (Matthew), Christopher (Sydney), Daniel, Rachel; and Great Grand Children: Joslyn, Maisie, Kaden; Abbie, Mason, Riley, and Hazel.

There will be no service. Jack and Joan recently celebrated 62 years of marriage with a grand celebration, with family and friends, at their Hillside Home - just one week prior to his passing. The family would like Jack to be remembered this way - full of joy.

Jack, we can only imagine what you’re up to - but likely, have a pipe in hand, your guitar close by, and discussing a story, while throwing in a joke or two. It’s comforting to know you're with Jesus. We miss you and look forward to joining you there one day.

Please continue to show your support by claiming and sharing: the ‘Fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22), with one another.
