Our precious and beautiful son passed away peacefully with his mom by his side on Friday September 13th at the young age of 22 years old.
Beloved son of Kelly and Ryan, caring and supportive brother to Jolee, loving boyfriend to longtime girlfriend Sydney.
As well as dog (North) and ferret (Bear).
Jordan moved to Cambridge, Ontario in February 2024 to be with his girlfriend Sydney in their first apartment
On April 21st, 2024 just 6 days before his 22nd birthday he was diagnosed for the second time with cancer.
This time he was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive blood cancer.
He moved back home to Toronto immediately to be with his family for support and to start treatment.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Jordan.
He had a lifelong love for Lacrosse. Was passionate about tattoos and getting them as often as he could. He loved to travel and loved his last trip to Montreal so much that he wanted to move there.
He’d also love to have a good chat, drive his moms car, play his PS5, eat great food, spend time with his family, spend weekends with Sydney, attend hockey games with his Dad, go shopping for vintage clothing, work hard, always joke around with his sister and when he had free time his favourite thing to do was walk along the train tracks while photographing graffiti and watch the trains go by.
We will miss him more than words can ever explain. We’ll miss his smile that could light up a room, his infectious laugh, loving spirit, his jokes, his quiet calm demeanor and how passionate he always was when talking about the things he loved.
His positive attitude and happiness, despite all his medical challenges, has inspired all those who knew him.
Throughout his last few months, he courageously endured countless procedures, setbacks, hospital stays, transfusions, appointments, and is now free from all that pain. He taught us perseverance and strength and inspired us all to be better. He always stayed calm and kept a dry sense of humour throughout it all. He will never be forgotten and will stay in our hearts forever.
We would like to thank everyone for their support during the last few months.
We would also like to thank the staff Sunnybrook Hospital for the care he received while there.
Jordan joins his grandfather Jerry, who he always talked about and honoured, as well as many other family members that have passed on.
At Jordan’s request he would like no funeral service.
Cremation has taken place.
A small celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In honour of Jordan please consider donating blood, eating your favourite meal or simply getting a tattoo.
