Jorge Vasquez Beltran

Our father and Abuelito, Jorge Vasquez, passed at home surrounded by his small but loving family. Alongside his son Frank and fiancé Julie, his adored and beloved granddaughter, Elena Margarita with Cristian, fiancé to Elena Margarita, and his faithful fur companions — two loving French Bulldogs, Spuddy and Chewie.

My Abuelito Jorge is now united in heaven with his beloved wife, my Abuelita, Nelly Lucia Avalos Vasquez. Jorge, a son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend gave so much without hesitation through his love, compassion and humble heart. Sadly, cancer took him from our arms, and despite our father and Abuelito being a fighter until the very end, his memories and love will never be forgotten by those closest to him.

Our father and Abuelito, Jorge will be travelling back home to his final resting place to reunite with the love of his life, Nelly at MonteOlivo in Quito, Ecuador. Together, may they both watch and guide us along our journey in life. Our father and grandfather was an honest, hard working, and dedicated man that never lied and showed his son and granddaughter how to respect and treat others with dignity and kindness. My Abuelito loved to walk down the aisles of thrift stores, watch his old Western country films directed by Clint Eastwood, and listen to his Ecuadorian pasillos. He loved going to the Mandarin to celebrate birthdays, and Swiss Chalet for a simple lunch or dinner with his family. Jorge, our father and Abuelito will forever be missed and loved in our hearts until our own final days on this earth.
