Jose Raymund Tabangcura

"Jose Raymund Tabangcura, 57 years old, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on April 19, 2020, following a short struggle with advanced liver cancer. He passed away at the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his family.

Raymund is survived by his wife, Elena, sons Rayonele and Justin, daughter Janelle, mother Nellie, sister Jannette, brother-in-law Orlan and loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Raymund was a loving father and friend to everyone.

He will be profoundly missed and remembered by his family and many friends. He left lots of happy memories and was much loved. He enjoyed playing golf, taking long drives and having a good laugh with his friends. He was active in Masonry, having joined the order in Manila, Philippines of Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial Lodge #81 and subsequently affiliated with the Zeta-Shamrock Lodge #410, and served as a Worshipful Master.

Raymund lived with a kind heart and in service of others. In however way he could, he made sure to be of help to his family, friends and even strangers. His hearty laugh and humour were his best tools to ensure that those around him felt comfortable and loved. Even to the end, he enjoyed a good laugh.

His family is confident that he is now enjoying a joyful and peaceful life in heaven, where there is no more pain and all the good jokes that he will be sharing with the angels.

There will be a viewing service on April 24th at 4pm EST. Due to the social distancing measures currently in place, we will be showing the service online on Facebook live instead. There will be a planned celebration of life and Masonic service for Raymund once the social distancing measures have been lifted. "
