Joseph Craven

Joseph Michael Craven, better known as Joe to friends and Joey to family, took his final ride on August 3, 2024, at the young age of 47. 

Joe will be forever loved and missed by his partner in crime Kaitlyn, his beautiful daughters Brianna and Kinsley, his fur babies Charlie and Georgia Peach, his parents Joe and Cathy Craven, his sister Teresa (Ray), the in-laws or as Joe would tease, the “monster-in-laws” Cindy (Rick), Joey (Danielle), his nephew Wyatt and so many other buddies, friends, and family. 

Joe was the kind of guy that would be there to lend a hand, at anytime, to anyone. He enjoyed spending time in his backyard oasis with his family, having a fire, throwing some darts, watching sports or the Sunday Nascar race. If he wasn’t at home, you’d find him out at the track catching a stock car race, or down at the creek getting his line wet seeing if anything was biting other than mosquitoes.

Joe always said he was going to trade Kaitlyn in for a new model, and when he brought his new bike home, the smile on his face, ear to ear, we all thought, this might be her competition but he assured us the seat on the back was forever hers. 

Ride free; you don’t have to be safe for us anymore; be reckless; drop a gear and disappear. 

A celebration of life will be held on August 17th at 1:00pm at 70 Summit Ave, Kitchener ON N2M 4W6. 

A secondary local celebration will be held at a later date for those friends and family who are unable to attend, details will follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter in Joe’s name. He was a passionate animal lover, who was always looking for a way to help an animal in need.
