Joseph George Denis Racine

Denis passed away peacefully in Ottawa on November 26, 2023.  He will be greatly missed by his daughter Vanessa, sisters Louise (Barry) Culham, Claire (Tony) Chiasson and many nieces and nephews.   Predeceased by his parents Leo and Rosamond Racine, and siblings Estelle (Bill) Craig, Martha (Des) Dubroy, and Richard Racine.

Denis enjoyed golf, volleyball, dragon boat racing and backgammon.   He valued his time working for the City of Ottawa, Grace Hospital and Queensway Carleton Hospital.   Denis is known for his generosity and love of people.  He enjoyed spending time in Jamaica and had a huge heart for cats and dogs.

Vanessa wishes to express her heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful team at The Ottawa Hospital who took care of her father while he was there.
