Joseph Edouard "Gary" McPhee

Joseph Edouard "Gary" McPhee, born on July 25, 1949, passed away on October 16, 2024, at Bethell Hospice in Inglewood, Ontario. He faced his final days with courage and grace, departing due to complications secondary to Stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer.

Gary was a cherished figure in the lives of his family. He leaves behind his beloved granddaughter, Isabella McPhee; his devoted son, Derek McPhee; his thoughtful daughter-in-law, Holly McPhee; and his loving grandson, Colton McPhee. He is also survived by his brother, Al McPhee, Al's wife Nellie, along their children Dan and Al and their families.

Gary's legacy is marked not only by his family but also by the enduring memory of those he loved and who loved him. He was predeceased by his wife, Cynthia McPhee; his daughter, Mardi McPhee; his parents, William and Anna McPhee; and a host of siblings, including Catherine (Babe), Simone, Geneva, Evelyn, Alphonse, Billy, Ambrose, Camille, Danny, Sadie, Walter, Russell, and Allan.

In this difficult time, we remember Gary's kindness, his gentle spirit, and the joy he brought to the lives of those around him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

In lieu of a Funeral Service the family has asked that donations be made to Bethell Hospice.
