Joseph Patrick Poirier

Pat is a man who lives on through the many lives he touched. The threads of his life and spirit are woven tightly into the tapestry that is his family.
Married for 54 years to his best friend, Diana, he created an enviable life of close family and friends. Surrounded by the deep love of his children Deborah, Patrice (Paul), Bryan and Lisa, his grandchildren Bryson-Patrick, Mathew, Beatrice-Anne, Richard, Taylor-Ann, Sarah, Jesyka, Jennifer, Marisa, Mikayla, Brandon, Brylinn, Lisa Marie and Reese, his great-grandchildren Christian, Caleb, Faith, Allister, Kensington and Hailey, Pat lived fully through and for their love.
Even as his life was slipping away, his focus remained strong on his family and he expressed his love loudly and often. The last thing he said was "I love you all so much". Family was everything and we proudly carry that forward.
His love for his brother Yvon "Jim" (Pauline) was profound and he fought hard to spend some of his final days together with a brother he looked up to and cherished. Their friendship was beautiful, and they shared many laughs, tears and wrestling matches. Time to hang up the gloves, boys.
He is predeceased by one brother and survived by 2 brothers and a sister.
So many nieces and nephews that he loved will miss him dearly.
Patrick travelled many places and made strong friendships that endured. He made time for his friends and loved them like family. He is missed by many and predeceased by his best friends Vance and Mac.
