Joyce Harding 93, of Mississauga Ontario quietly passed away on April 8 2022 after a long battle with health issues at the Trillium Hospital in Mississauga.
Born in Minto New Brunswick on February 19, 1929. She was the eldest daughter of the late Walter and Helen Corey of New Zion New Brunswick.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by husband Glynn Harding in 1999; son Dan 2021, Brother Ralph Corey; and Sister Marylou Rollins.
She is survived by sons John and Tim; Sister Doreen Gould several nieces and nephews and best friend Amy.
Joyce had an interesting life, when she was around 15 she was part of the war effort workforce during WW2 and in the 50's she worked as a telephone operator and later became a fulltime mother of 3 boys.
Joyce and Glynn left Minto in 1966 to come to Toronto with the 3 boys and her uncle in tow to seek a better life, upon arriving she found employment within a week at a company manufacturing auto parts called Gabriel Shocks. She retired there in 1994.
In 2008 she moved to live in Mississauga Ontario with her boys, until her recent passing.
She will be remembered by all as a very gracious lady and mother to all who knew her, as well as enjoying her passion of baking and the willingness to always give a helping hand.
There will be no services at this time, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Her ashes will be laid to rest with her parents Walter and Helen Corey at the Newcastle Bridge Baptist Cemetery located in Newcastle Bridge New Brunswick.
We will miss you mom, thank you for everything you were so good to us.
