Joyce Mercer-Arnold

Passed away peacefully and with great dignity in her 79th year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Milton Arnold. She will always be remembered as a loving stepmother by Milton Arnold Jr (Ottawa), Donna (Arnold Florida), Lindsay & Lucille Arnold (Ottawa) and Christopher Arnold & Denise Paquette (Ottawa), as well as her grandchildren Sean Arnold, Jordan Arnold, Daniel Arnold & Jessica Franklin, Tristan Arnold-Paquette and Liam Arnold-Paquette. She also leaves behind her sisters in California Shirley & Russ Jarvis, Laurie & Herb Chord and Holly & Stan MacPhee, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.


Joyce had a great love of nature, fishing and crafting. Although she worked for many years as a restauranteur and in the fashion industry, she was a great caregiver to her Mother-in-Law and husband. The devotion, love and caring she carried out will always be remembered. Those who knew Joyce well admired her quiet strength, steadfast loyalty and kind heart. She will be greatly missed.


Unfortunately due to family illness we were unable to plan or hold a memorial for her until now. We will be burying the ashes at the family plot In Montreal on June 25th and hold a small memorial at the same time. We would welcome any friends and family to join us.
