Joyce Tucker

Joyce Tucker of Brampton in her 100th year passed away peacefully on February 6th 2024 at Woodhall Park Care Community LTC. 

Beloved wife of the late Gordon Edgar Tucker.  Loving mother of Linda Varcoe (Gary), Allan Tucker (Bev) and Robin Davidson (Doug). Adored Nana of 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.  Daughter of Allan and Charlotte Tilley of Bell Island NFLD.  Dear sister of Margaret Jerrett and the late Evelyn Buffett, Douglas Tilley, and Allan Tilley.  She will also be remembered by the many niece's and nephew's whom she loved dearly.  A dedicated employee of Northern Telecom for 23 years until her retirement.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the nursing team at Woodhall Park for their never ending acts of kindness, care and respect.  Those wishing to make a donation to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Joyce or consider an act of random kindness towards a PSW,  would be greatly appreciated by our family.  Our beautiful mom will be forever cherished and missed beyond measure. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday February 12th 2024 at St. Joseph's of Nazareth Anglican Church at 11:00am.  290 Balmoral Drive, Brampton, Ontario followed by internment at the Brampton cemetery.  10 Wilson Avenue, Brampton Ontario with entrance from Church Street.   A reception will be held at 1pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 609.  1133 Queen St. East in Brampton.
