Judith Claire Graves (Taylor)
Peacefully went to be with her Lord on August 13, 2023, at Royal Oak Long Term Care in Kingsville, Ontario.
Born in sunny California on November 7, 1942. She is survived by George Graves her husband of 57 years.
Judy and George moved their family to Mississauga, Ontario in the mid 70’s. She was the loving mother to Tim (Heather) and Beth (Peter) and grandmother to 6 grandchildren: Bryn, Jordan, Mitchell, Dana, Paden, and Kendra. She will also be missed by her younger sister, Jeri (Jerry) Honberger.
In California, Judy loved teaching physical education and kept notes from many of her students. When they moved to Canada, she had many ventures selling products from cards to bible cassettes, but she will forever be known as the local Avon Lady. For years, Judy was the top sales representative in her district winning many awards.
She loved going to church, singing in the choir, participating in bible studies, and volunteering to help in any way she could.
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered "Come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn't make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
