Turcotte (Killeen), Judith-Anne
June 26, 1947 - March 3, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judi Turcotte, at the age of 69. She will be so very missed by her loving husband, Donald Turcotte, and her children, Michelle Fortin (Stephane Lavigne) of Aylmer, and Danielle Fortin (Philippe Bisson) of Chelsea, as well as by her step-children Marie Anne Turcotte (predeceased), Cathy Turcotte, Susan Turcotte-Gallant (Glen Gallant) of Ottawa, and Mike Turcotte (Tara-Lee) of Slave Lake, Alberta, and by her brother Emilio Bartlow (Rita) of Ottawa. Judi was an extremely proud and loving grandmother to Seth Williams, Caroline, Geneviève and Valerie Bisson, as well as to her step-grandchildren, Beth (Ryan Tooley) and Scott Gibeault (Jordana), Jade and Kale Turcotte, and Jesse Gallant, as well as to her step great-grandchildren, Emma, Austin, Logan, Joshua, Alyx and Oliver. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Bert and Dorothy Killeen (nee Dubroy), and brothers Martin Killeen, and Robert and Frank Tizianni. Judi will always be remembered for her caring, generous and loving nature. She has enriched the lives of all those who knew her. She touched so many people in so many incredible ways. She was the most generous, caring, selfless, supportive, loving person we have ever known. We are fortunate to have known her, be loved by her, and inspired by her. After a 27-year career at Bell Canada, she volunteered her time to the Ottawa Heart Institute. A warm thank you goes to the Queensway Carleton Hospital staff for the special care given to Judi. A special celebration of Judi's life will be held on Tuesday March 28, at 10am, at the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa, 30 Cleary Avenue. In Judi's memory, please consider making a donation to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
