Julia Hasenstaub

Julia Hasenstaub. age 89 passed away peacefully in the morning on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at River Road Retirement Residence. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, Yaya, and friend. Born on January 31, 1928, to Klara and Valentin in Batina, Croatia. Julia spoke seven languages and made friends with everyone she met. A woman ahead of her times and wise beyond her years. She was fiercely independent and lived life on her terms. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. Julia was predeceased by her son, Mathias, a younger brother, Valentin and her sister Magda. She is survived by her daughter, Gisela, granddaughter Laura (Donato Battista), grandsons Alberto and Armando, great-granddaughters, Cesina, Alejandra and Valentina, a brother, Dragan (Anna), nieces, nephews and other family.
Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.
