Julia Maria Mettler

Mettler, Julia Maria (nee Naef) February 1, 1926 - September 23, 2018, peacefully departed this life on a most beautiful autumn day, completed by the rising of a splendidly glowing full moon. Leaving the body, her spirit has now become part of the life that surrounds us everywhere. Julie was born in her beloved Switzerland and came to Canada with her then boyfriend Freddy in 1952. They married a year later and with the support and encouragement of many new friends built a life together, enriched a few years later by the arrival of their son Peter. It is with a deep sense of gratitude for the many years we could share together that we say goodbye to our most beloved partner and mother. We will always keep her in our memories. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Friends and family will be notified accordingly.
