Karen Evelyn Thomas (Nee Edgar) Age 67 of Kanata, ON November 8, 1951 - August 3, 2018
Karen passed away peacefully on Friday August 3 at 8:50AM surrounded by her family.
Karen had a great big heart that was so full of love. When she wasn't busy taking care of her family, she spent much of her time volunteering and hosting the Kanata Cruise Night Car Show to raise money for CHEO hospital.
Her memory will always live on by her loving husband Roger Thomas of 35 years; her son Michael Thomas, wife Rachel Thomas and their children Mackenzie, Ethan and Kyah; her son Tyler Thomas, partner Marie (Baldwin) and their children Desmond (Warren) and baby Daxton; her sister Gale Hunt, husband Bobby; brother Les Edgar; brother Tommy Edgar, wife Edna; and all of her in-laws, nieces, nephews and her friends
Karen is preceded in death by her parents Yvette and Allen Edgar.
There will be a private service for her family, and a celebration of life to follow in the coming weeks.
In lieu of flowers, consider making a memorial donation to the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice or The Cancer Society of Canada.
