Karl Ludwig Mayer

Peacefully on December 11, 2017, our beloved Karl Ludwig Mayer left us after 90 extraordinary years. He leaves his wife of 69 years, Gerlinde, who he met at the lake Wé�rthersee in Klagenfurt while on vacation from Vienna. He will also be missed by his son Richard (Dominique) and grandchildren Katrine (Chantal), Sebastian and Stefanie, as well as family and friends in Canada and Europe. An amazing man - husband, father, grandfather, provider, engineer, and executive - always caring, generous, handy and helpful. A service will be held at 10AM on Wednesday January 3 at the Red Oak Retirement Residence in Kanata, 3501 Campeau Dr.
