Kathy (Kay) passed away peacefully at Trillium Queensway Hospital Mississauga on August 15th, having just celebrated her 89th birthday.
Dear mother of Jim (T.J.) Wallis, Kathy was born and grew up in Toronto the second of four children. She was the dear sister of the late George Lewis Baker (1999), Dorothy Davison (2012) and Frederick Baker (2019). She will be remembered by her sister-in-law Sandra, nieces and nephews, Diane, Robert, Wendy, and Eric.
Kathy began her career working with the CNIB in the late 1940’s, then spent many years with State Farm and ending her career with Cadbury Schweppes. Upon retiring she moved to Midland where she enjoyed 15+ years making new friends and enjoying a leisurely pace of life. Kathy moved back to the Toronto area in 2017 to be near her son Jim.
With declining health in the last 3 years, she still kept her sense of humour and enjoyed watching her favourite TV programmes, especially golf .
As per her wishes cremation has taken place and her ashes will be scattered by the family at a later date.
