It is with great sadness that the family of Keith Alan McKenzie announces his passing on Thursday, April 29, 2021.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Madison, His Mother, Joan (predeceased by his father, Roy) and his siblings, Martin (Colleen), Gaye Villa (Enzo), Jane Muddiman (predeceased by Rob), Bruce (Francine) and Scott (Sue). Keith will also be fondly remembered by his cousins, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and dear friends.
Keith was grateful to his sister, Jane for caring for him in the last 5 months of his life.
A very special thanks to the caring medical teams at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Victoria Hospital, London, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Dr. Lynne Benjamin, Palliative Care, LHIN, Closing the Gap, Acclaim Health and Ian Anderson House.
Keith spent a big part of his life travelling the world, even working as a tour guide in several countries and continents. He made friends everywhere he went and cherished them throughout his life.
Any of Keith’s family and friends will tell you he was also a master storyteller, jokester and entertainer. His sense of humour was infectious and he never failed to make you smile. The most precious moments of Keith’s life however, were those he spent with his daughter, Madison. He will forever treasure their heart to hearts and the many adventures they shared.
Keith was a living example of “Carpe Diem”, the motto of his alma mater, Earl Haig Secondary School.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
If desired, in Lieu of Flowers, donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada , Ian Anderson House or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
