Kenneth Thomas Michael O’Leary

July 22, 1934 - February 12th, 2022

In his 88th year, Kenneth Thomas Michael O’Leary passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, Ontario.  Ken was married at 18 to his 17 year old sweetheart Alice (Crocker) for just shy of 69 years!!!  He was the proud father of 3 wonderful daughters - Kelly, Nancy (John), and Peggy.  Grandfather to Scott (Sarah), Matthew, Markelle, Amanda and the late Ashleigh, and Joshua.  Great grandfather to Amanda’s son Jack, and to Scott and Sarah’s daughters Madelyn and Zoey.  And a Doggy Daddy to DaisyMae.  Ken was also close to his son-in-laws of 25 years, Mark Latham and the late Jim Wilder.

Ken was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan.   A Leafs season ticket holder for many years, he shared his passion of hockey with his family and bled blue and white!   Ken and his brother Bernie O’Leary (Victoria, BC) would have many a chat about their beloved Maple Leafs.

Ken was a member of UA Local 46 (Plumbers and Steamfitters) since 1956 and was very proud of his achievements, working on big buildings in Toronto auch as the Royal Bank Plaza, Eaton Centre etc.  He retired in 1994 and enjoyed spending winters in Florida when he could, which meant lots of golf as Ken was also an avid golfer.  Ken also liked to travel, was proud of his Irish heritage ☘️ And he loved his BEER!!!

Ken will be sincerely missed by his family and many friends.  Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for Saturday, June 18th in Burlington, Ontario.  Details to be confirmed at a later date.

Rest In Eternal Peace, Ken - loving husband, father, brother, uncle, great uncle, grandpa and great grandpa.  You were dearly loved and will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
