Kevin John Howlett

HOWLETT, Kevin John (July 17, 1949 – December 15, 2018) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin at the age of 69, at the RVH in Barrie, Ontario, while surrounded by his family. The son of the late John and Sara Howlett and loving husband of Brenda for 50 years. Kevin was the beloved father of Mark (Suzie), Janet (Fernando), and Craig (Mary). Cherished Grandfather to Jessica, Sidney, Mckenzie, Tara, Jacob and Samantha Rose. Kevin is also survived by his brother Wayne, sister in-laws Gayle, Janice, and Carol and brother in-law Ervin. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, he moved to Ontario to raise his family and worked across Ontario and Quebec for CN Rail, retiring after a successful 30 year career. The Family would like to thank the Personal Care Workers, Nurses, and Doctors at RVH for the caring support and kindness shown to Kevin and his family.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Town & Country Steakhouse, 76 Dunlop St W, Barrie, Ontario, on Sunday, January 13th, 2019, 1-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Kevin's name to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) in Barrie or a charity of your choose.
