Kikuye (nee Otani) LeBlanc

Kikuye LeBlanc (nee Otani) (November 14, 1931 - December 8, 2019) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly loved mother, Kikuye LeBlanc, into the arms of her Lord and Saviour, on Dec.8, 2019 at Carleton Lodge nursing home. She leaves behind her 2 children, Ed (Karla) & Julie (Dirk) and 6 grandchildren (Katie, Sara, William, Amy, Caleb, & Ben).Kikuye was a gracious, kind, joyful & gentle soul who encouraged others and loved her family. She had a great sense of fun and was always content despite the ups and downs of life. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff and volunteers at Carleton Lodge who provided wonderful loving care for her these past 3 years. A funeral service will be held at Hope Cemetery Chapel 4660 Bank St. Ottawa on Wednesday Dec. 11th at 1pm, burial and reception to follow. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to "Carleton Lodge Auxiliary" & mailed to Carleton Lodge 55 Lodge Rd. Ottawa, Ontario K2C 3H1.
