It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our father, Larry Lamothe on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 at the age of 79. Predeceased by his loving wife Joan Lamothe of 57 years. They are now together again.
He will be sadly missed by his three children, Michel (Brenda), Linda and Steven (Sandra). He will be remembered forever by his grandchildren Melissa, Kyle, Adam and Rylan. He also leaves behind four great grandchildren: Matteo, Stefano, Brooklyn and Myer. He will be missed by niece Louise (Robert), whom he cherished.
Larry was a hard working mechanic for over 40 years but his true passion was playing the organ for family and friends. Larry loved being around the people closest to him, especially when watching sports…as we all know he was a huge hockey fan. He will always be remembered for helping anyone in need. If you needed a hand, he had two to give.
We would like to thank all our family and friends that supported us during this difficult time. A sincere thank you to the staff at St. Patrick’s for taking such good care of our father and making his stay there enjoyable.
We love you Dad. ♥
A Celebration of Life of our father's wonderful 80 years of life will be held at the Rideau Curling Club, 715 Cooper Street, on Friday, February 18 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Provincial Covid vaccination mandates will be in place.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.
