Laurier Lécuyer

Of Rockland, Ontario, passed away on Saturday December 9, 2023, at the age of 97. Born in Maxville Ontario on May 20, 1926. Son of the late Frederick Lécuyer and the late Florestine Beriault. Beloved husband of 71 years to the late Madeleine Lécuyer (Gingras). He leaves behind his children Nicole (late Adrien Bastien), Diane (Ghislain Veilleux), Jocelyne, Sandra, Roger (Julie Mayer); as well as his grandchildren Stéphane, Marc, Melanie, Roxanne, Daniel, Renée, Michel, Christine, Julie, Keith, and Kayla; as well as 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and one dear sister-in-law Ruth Lécuyer. He will be also missed by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Colette, and his step siblings Romuald "Bud" (Simone Letreille), and Maurice (Ruth). He will be missed by all that he touched with his kindness.

A graveside service will be held in early spring at Notre Dame Cemetery, 455 Montreal Road, Ottawa.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Montfort, all the Ottawa Hospital Campuses, Queenswood Villa and Symphony Retirement Home, as well as any EMS staff that cared for their father.
