Leanne Rachel Lynn Lubberts, 47 years of age, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022 at Parkwood hospital in London Ontario, surrounded by her family. Cherished mother of Brooklyn, Micaela and Danae. She is survived by her sisters Elaine Northrup, Tina (Jim) Crown, and Chasta (Ryan) Illeman; many nieces, nephews, extended family, great friends and coworkers.
Leanne was born on February 27th, 1975 in London Ontario, to the late Leroy and Barbara (Bartlett) Stapleton. She was the third born of four daughters. Her energetic and giving personality will be missed by many. Even towards the end of her battle with cancer, she found the time and energy to volunteer. She loved writing letters of encouragement and a hope of a better future to those in her community. Leanne loved to travel, with both her family and friends. Whether it was visiting a new continent, or taking an unfamiliar back road, she loved the adventure. She made friends very easily and was a great entertainer. She enjoyed hosting dinner parties and visiting new cultural restaurants with those she loved. Her career as a midwife was something that brought her much joy. Many clients were touched with her love and care, as she assisted in bringing many new little ones into the world.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Parkwood Hospital for their ongoing love and support during this difficult time. Thank you to all the family and friends who have provided prayers, meals and comfort. They were very much needed.
