Lenore Alberta Mercer was given her angel wings on November 5th 2020, at the age of 70, to join her beloved husband Whitmore (June) Mercer.
Even during her battle with pancreatic cancer, Lenore inspired family and friends with her strength and courage every day.
Lenore was a wonderful and kind woman. She was a devoted wife and mother, a loving grandmother and sister, and a loyal friend.
Although she was tiny, she was a force to be reckoned with. She faced every day with passion and determination and could always be counted on for a word of advice and never ending support.
She reminded us that life is precious and made sure that her loved ones remembered their self worth.
Lenore loved to sit on the back deck and watch the hummingbirds. She could spend hours shopping and had a knack for baking delicious treats.
Most of all, Lenore loved spending time with her family and friends.
Her memory will be cherished by her children Laura (Dwayne) Lowe, Charlene (Bill) Pettigrew, Dennis(the late Collette) Mercer and her grandchildren Courtney Mercer, Alyssa Schade (Brad Forbes), Tyler Mercer, Dennis Mercer Jr. And her great grandchildren. Lenore is survived by her sister Patricia (Les) Tughan and her brother in law John Piat and predeceased by her sister Marlene Piat.

For love is immortality "

The Magic of a Mother's Touch
There's magic in a Mother's touch,
and sunshine in her smile.
There's love in everything she does
to make our lives worthwhile.
We can find both hope and courage
Just by looking in her eyes.
Her laughter is a source of joy,
her words are warm and wise.
There is a kindness and compassion
to be found in her embrace,
and we see the light of heaven
shining from a Mother's face.
