Leo Gratton

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joseph Armand “Leo” Gratton, age 68, beloved husband, father, brother, nephew and “EO”, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Thursday, July 20, 2023, with his family by his side.   He was born December 6, 1954 in Verdun, Quebec to Albert & Therese (Masse) Gratton.   Dad was a private man who was fiercely devoted to his family and those who knew him will miss his kind and generous spirit and his wicked sense of humour.   Predeceased by his parents and his brother Rene, he is survived by his wife Kathleen, his children Lisa (Chris) and Adam (Shannon) and his grand-daughter Sydney.  He is also survived by his aunt Yolande, his siblings Robert (Susan), Pierre (Sylvie), Diane & Denise, sisters-in-law Caroline, Karen (Brian), Diane, brothers-in-law Paul (Catherine), William, Tony (Denise), as well as many nieces and nephews.   The family wishes to thank Dr. Sebastien Hotte as well as the kind nurses and doctors that took care of Dad in the Transitional Care Unit at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral services.  Donations in his memory can made to the charity of your choice.
