Leon Thomas Gosselin

We say farewell to Leon Gosselin, an exemplary man. Leon Thomas Gosselin, in his 95th year, passed away on January 26, 2025. Son of the late Mary Maude Gosselin (Kennedy) and Thomas Vincent Gosselin.

Beloved and devoted husband to Mary Ann (Ginny) Gosselin (Curran) for 73 years. Loving father to Janis, Nancy, and Karen (deceased) Gosselin.

Adored papa, grandfather to Sondra Gatien, who held a special place in his heart. Great-grandfather to Leon Michel Spirito.

Survived by SR. Ruth Gosselin, CSJ.

Brother to the late Vernon and Elmer Gosselin, Peterborough. Roxie Brennan, Port Hope. Phyllis Gosselin Cobourg. Uncle to several nieces and nephews from Peterborough, Port Hope, and Ottawa.

Leon loved to spend time with his family and was a man with a kind heart. He brought a lot of joy and laughter to those around him. He was an excellent golfer and taught many to enjoy the game.

Leon retired from CocaCola, after a rewarding career.

A private gathering will be held at a later date in Peterborough. In memory of Leon, donations can be made to MS Society of Ontario, Junior Diabetic Association, or the local Humane Society.

We would like to take a moment to give a sincere thank you to Chapel Hill Retirement Residence staff, the RPN's and PSW's. All who helped Leon with compassion and dedication. To Dr. Elie Skaff for his kind caring towards Leon and his family.

He led a wonderful life and was loved deeply by those close to him.
