Leposava Zagorac

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Leposava Zagorac, who peacefully departed from this life on December 24th, 2024 (Christmas Eve), after a long and courageous battle with dementia and physical disabilities at the age of 72.

Born in Serbia, on August 29th, 1952, Leposava was known for a warm heart, a strong spirit and dedication to her family. She was a devoted wife to the late Draško Zagorac, beloved mother to Ivan and Nina, stepmother to Samuel Domski, grandmother to Audrey, Vanessa and Mila, and daughter to Živojin and Marija Stojanović.Throughout her life, Leposava was an embodiment of strength and kindness. Even as dementia slowly took its toll, her family and friends were moved by her resilience, grace, and ability to find joy in even the smallest moments. Her unwavering love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she found joy in being surrounded by those she loved.

May Leposava rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in the love and memories she leaves behind.

Her Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 11th, from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., at the St. James Cemetery Chapel, located at 635 Parliament Street in Toronto, Ontario, M4X 1S3. 

Her family thanks, in advance, all who will come next Saturday to celebrate and commemorate her life.
