Leslie (Les) Elwin Beaven

Leslie (Les) Elwin Beaven passed away peacefully on January 31, 2023 at the age of 68 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Cathy Beaven, three children – Sarah (Michael), Amy (Mitch) and Adam (Cody), two grandchildren – Mackenzie and Phoenix, and his loving sister Gail Beaven. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. His final wishes were not to mourn him, he wanted to celebrate his life. There will be a celebration of life held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 between 12-3 p.m. at the Riverside Pub (3673 Riverside Drive, Ottawa).

Memorial donations may be made in Les’ name to Queensway Carleton Hospital or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.  The family would like to thank the palliative care team who took exceptional care of Les.
