Lillian Robertson

ROBERTSON, Lillian Alice (nee Herries, in Port Burwell , ON ) - Peacefully, on October 13th, after a happy and intrepid life, Lillian died at home in London . She was in her hundredth year. Lillian is survived by her sister Donna, beloved and loving children Donna and Doug (Dorothy), and grandchildren Abbey (Dean), Alexander (Sarah), Jennifer (Zenon), and Stephanie (Shawn). She was GG to Gabriel, Charlotte , Cadence, Cohen, Theodore, August, Joshua, and Benjamin. Lillian’s family was the centre of her heart, and they carry the best parts of her forward. Her long and loving marriage to Jim was a partnership she cherished: one in which they thrived and established steady homes for their family in Canada , Peru , Iran , and Libya . Her persistent wanderlust, and his gentle acquiescence, made for a life filled with colourful memories and exotic treasures. Her sharp wit and bridge-playing savvy delighted her friends, and she found joy in watching baseball, golf, and curling. Lillian’s family sincerely thanks the team at Grand Wood Park Retirement Residence for their compassion, humour, and competence over the past six years. A service will be held at

First St. Andrew’s United Church in London , ON , at 11am on November 19th, 2016. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
