With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Linda (Lynn) Cleveland on June 2, 2024 at the age of 61. Loving daughter to Rejeanne and the late Paul Cleveland. She leaves behind a cherished daughter, Jessica (Steve), granddaughters Kirsten and Caitlin, as well as her life partner Stephen, who she loved all very deeply. Loving sister to Pauline, Frank (Claire), Debbie (Gerry), and Judy. Predeceased by sister Jeannie. She will be fondly remembered by her step children Amanda, Aaron and Jamie as well as her nephews Shawn (Amirjeet), Ian (Nary) and nieces Enobia (Chris) and Candice. Along with many great nieces, and nephews, including numerous friends whose lives she touched with her kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit through out the years. Lynn will be deeply missed by her two precious rescues, Sadie and Murphy. Lynn had a huge heart for all stray cats and would take many in over the years. She spent months in the dead of winter building trust daily with a feral feline that eventually rewarded her with the safe capture of her beloved Rusty, who she doted on till his passing. Lynn also had an extreme talent for crochet, which kept her busy with new creations constantly. She dabbled in many different hobbies that brought her joy and peace, including photography and poetry. Her good natured spirit, friendly smile and unique laughter will be missed by many. “Your presence we miss, your memory we treasure, loving you always, forgetting you never.” In keeping with Lynns wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will occur in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the OSPCA (https://ontariospca.ca/barrie/) or an Animal Rescue charity of your choice in her honor.
