Lloyd George Edwards

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Lloyd George Edwards.  Lloyd was born in St. Catherines, Jamaica on December 31, 1952 and sadly passed away in Ottawa, Canada on April 21, 2023.   He is survived by his son Alvin Edwards and daughter Novelyn Edwards.  He left behind 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, six brothers, Layban, Melford, George, Junior, Lance and Basil, one sister, many nieces and nephews.  Special mention goes to Wayne Osbourne and Lourlyn and his life-long friend, confidante and caretaker, Macrina Louis.  Lloyd had many special friends in Marta and Chris Breen, Lawrence, Joy, Jimmy Haye, Lester, Maeve and Aubrey and many more too numerous to mention.  Lloyd will be dearly missed by all.  Thank you to everyone who has helped in one way or another, his PSWs, doctors and friends, you all meant the world to him and he was grateful for each and every one of you.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
