Lois Isobel Owen

On Sunday February 23rd, Lois Owen passed away peacefully at the age of 95.

Lois lived a long and full life, happily married to and adored by Trevor Owen for 65 years. She loved her three children and was the much-loved mother of David (Julia Woods), Jane, and Bryn (Irene Palatics). Jane was a devoted daughter and best friend to Lois visiting her mum every day providing love and laughter. Predeceased by Trevor, and her parents Grace and Robert Elmer Fawcett, sister Shirley Fawcett and brother Jack Fawcett.

Lois enjoyed gardening and was a master at creating beautiful outdoor spaces, reading, playing with our dog Hogan, charades and swimming at the cottage, and attending services at St. Luke’s. She was a genuine person whose warmth, intelligence and thoughtfulness created the foundation for many lifelong friendships. More than anything, Lois adored her three grandchildren, Jackson, Ethan and Abby.

Heartfelt thanks to the team at Cooksville Care including Edna, Cattleya, Ngawang, Cynthia and all the dedicated PSWs and nurses who showed such kindness and care to Lois.

Lois, Mum, Mom, Nana, you will be missed and forever loved.

A memorial service will be held on Monday March 24th at 1PM at the Church of St. Bride, 1516 Clarkson Rd N, Mississauga, ON L5J 2W9.
