Lois Marion (Wilcox) Talbot

Peacefully at Linhaven Nursing Home on December 24, 2020, Lois has gone to a well deserved rest.

Predeceased by her husband, Hugh (1976), daughter Isobel (1964) and son Alexander “Sandy” (2018), brothers Jack (2001), Ferris (1998), Donald (1986) and sister Barbara (1993).

Lois will be missed by her daughters Ruth (Paul), Barbara (Don), and Lori Ann, son David (Peggy), grandchildren Sarah (Scott), Caralee and Graham, and great-grandchildren Evan and Tyler as well as her nieces Janice, Annette, Elda and Lisa, and nephews Allan, Jack, Steven and Glenn.

Lois did an extraordinary job raising 5 children under very difficult circumstances, and her sacrifices will always be remembered. She loved following her Toronto Maple Leafs, Blue Jays and Argonauts, and it was a great joy to be able to take her to a few games in later years.

A special Thank You to the staff at Linhaven, especially those on her Brock Unit. The care and compassion that was demonstrated by every staff member has been greatly appreciated by the family.

At this time, I would also like to thank and commend the entire staff of Linhaven , who have done an exceptional job during this very trying time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at such time when restrictions are lifted and the family can gather together.
