Lorna June Johnson

We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear Mother, Lorna Johnson, who was 94 years young. She was a lively individual who enjoyed music and dancing very much.
At 90 years old, she could be found dancing to her favourite music and going for swims in the local pool. When she went to her Grandson‘s wedding several years ago she was dancing the night away and left us amazed at her energy!
She was a good piano player; along with her sister Helen and her Mother Lilly; they achieved fine piano playing abilities. Her love of music instilled in her children the appreciation of singing and or/ playing guitar.
Mom will be joining her dear husband, Allan Johnson in heaven. She will be sadly missed by her children Karen (Cameron) Noble and Ray Johnson (Jeanette)
She will be forever remembered by her beloved Grandchildren; Kristy Kerswill (Norman Posynick), Andrea Kerswill (Brandon Piereder) and Keith Kerswill, Stephen Johnson(Jill) and Mark Johnson (Stephanie Macfarlane); Great Grandchildren; Jacob Connolly, Autumn Posynick Dawson Kerswill, William Johnson and Lillie Johnson.
Mom was adored by all of the people at Columbia Forest, they loved to see her lovely smile and warm replies during conversations. Always an advocate for education, she believed that education was a stepping  stone to improving your life.
She will be missed greatly-by all of her family. We will have an empty spot at the table for our get together without you Mom- we miss you lots already.
A small, private family Celebration of Life will take place at the end of the month.
