Lorna Judith Alfonso Molzan

Lorna Judith Alfonso Molzan passed away on April 4, 2025, in Ottawa, Ontario at the age of 65. She was born on May 20, 1959, in Bogotá, Colombia.

Lorna, the daughter of Sara Briceño de Alfonso and Fernando Alfonso, was a devoted mother to Dominique, Alejandro, and Stephanie Molzan. She loved her children deeply and always put their needs above her own. She found great joy in her role as a grandmother to Hunter and Sadie McKeen, whose presence brought out her childlike energy and playful nature. She leaves behind her partner Sylvain Pouliot and sister Kathy Alfonso Fonseca along with her nieces and nephews.

Known for her vibrant spirit and infectious love for life, Lorna embraced every opportunity to create new experiences and make long lasting connections. She loved dancing and traveling; she was always eager to immerse herself with new people and in new countries and cultures. Her lively personality made her the heart of every gathering, and her sense of humor remained a constant source of light throughout her life, even until the end.

Lorna passed away surrounded by her loving family. Her positive energy, ability to make others laugh no matter the circumstance, and passion for adventure will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
