Louis “Lou” Gregorich, of Mississauga, ON, passed away suddenly in his home by his wife’s side on Good Friday, April 2nd, 2021.
Born in Austria on August 21st, 1937, Lou immigrated to Toronto, Canada, where he met and married the love of his life, Heidi Fritzler. As an incredible team they started a poultry farm near Streetsville, Ontario and raised a family there. Lou spent his best years running the business with his wife and being a father to his three daughters: Tangely, Teshley, and Shana.
Lou was known for being passionate about his work and thrived in his rustic lifestyle. He was strong, cheerful, and happiest socializing with his customers and was well loved by his friends and family. His family holds dear fond memories of Lou proudly riding his tractor, tilling the soil, growing vegetables in the garden, and looking after his chickens.
Family vacations were often spent at their summer home in Naples, Florida. There, Lou enjoyed long walks on the beach with Heidi and spending time on the pier where he fished with his children and socialized with friends.
Lou spent his twilight years enjoying the rewards of his labour as a loving husband and patriarch to his daughters and grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by his family.
