Newmarket

It is with deep sadness that we announce the courageous passing of Louis Vance Murray on March 13, 2022 at the age of 70.

He was better known as Vance Murray by the ones who truly knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife Maria Jeanne, his three children; Daniel, Mari-Beth and John, his 5 grandchildren; Daniel, Rocco, Matthew, Lola and Logan, his daughter in-law Anna and son-in law Marty. Vance loved his family and made known how incredibly proud he was of them all.

Vance was born September 14, 1951 in downtown Toronto and lived his life in the best way he knew how, touching everyone he met with his unique personality and wealth of knowledge. He had a special way to carry on a conversation and keeping his audience captivated.

As a young man he made his own way and quickly found solace in music.

Our dad had passion’s in many areas like the arts, cooking, carpentry, hydro, gemology and of course his absolute love for music as a master "harp" harmonica player.

Dad we wish you eternal peace, love and know that you will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by us all.

"Absolutely stupendous"
