Luigi Magliocchi

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Luigi Magliocchi (64), on February 15th, 2025, in Toronto.

He was born on February 27th, 1960, to parents late Gabriele and late Giuseppina Magliocchi. Loving brother to Antonio (Mary Anne) and Luisa (Antonio). Caring zio to Adam (Paula), Paul (Ashley), Dania and Davide. Treasured great zio to Savina and Gabriel, and cherished nephew, cousin, and friend to many.

Luigi (known to many as ‘Lou’) will be missed deeply by all who loved him. He will never be forgotten as he remains in our hearts forever. Lou worked as machine operator with Tacc Construction for many years and had invaluable knowledge with extensive auto mechanic experience. He had a passion for traveling, fishing, spending time with his family and his hobby for all things Formula 1. Lou was always willing and ready to help anyone at any time, whether it was changing the brakes on your car, an oil change, or teaching you how to catch and clean a fish.

On March 17th, 2025, at 7pm, a mass will be held in Luigi’s honour at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave W, North York, ON M6A1C3). Light refreshments will be served in the Church Hall following the mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
