Lynnette Saltmarsh

It is with great sadness that the family of Lynnette Karen Saltmarsh (nee Ebeling) share with you that on May 14, 2021, Lynn passed away.

She slipped away peacefully while at home in the early morning at the age of 60.

Lynn’s beloved husband Mike and her daughter Krystal were at her side.

Lynn was born in Etobicoke Ontario on July 2, 1960, to Ruth Giesela Ebeling and Werner Ebeling.

Lynn was one of six children, Raymond, Joseph, Edith, Walter, and Jeffrey.

Lynn had a loving daughter Krystal, a son-in-law Wesley and three grandchildren who she loved very much, Avery, Bailey and Cassidy.

Lynn was a strong and determined woman, devoted wife mother and Grandmother.

Lynn loved spending her summers at the cottage with friends and family.

Mike and Lynn were married for 23 wonderful years.

Lynn enjoyed skiing, boating, fishing, and indoor soccer.

Lynn loved being a part of Girl Guides and Scouting, planning events such as all section camps and watching the kids learn new things while enjoying the outdoors.

Lynn will be missed greatly by her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren.

Lynn will be fondly remembered as Grandma and a loving person and will be sadly missed.

The Family would like to offer our grateful thanks to Dr. Tara Nevins and the “Care For Team” during Lynn’s final days.

The Family would also like to thank Dr. Marcus Butler and his outstanding staff at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for their care and kind assistance during her treatment.

A special thanks to Nicholas Feugas who made weekly visits to Princess Margaret so pleasant.

Flowers can be sent to the office of Hope Cemetery at 4660 Bank Street, Ottawa Ontario on Thursday, May 20, 2021, as the service will be on Friday, May 21, 2021, at 10:00 AM via video link.
