Madeleine Lécuyer (née Gingras)

Of Rockland Ontario passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the age of 91.  Born in Masham, Quebec on September 28, 1932.

Daughter of the late Godfroy Gingras and the late Marie-Jeanne Albina-Legros.  Beloved wife of 71 years to Laurier Lécuyer.  She leaves behind her children Nicole (the late Adrien Bastien), Diane (Ghislain Veilleux), Jocelyne, Sandra, Roger (Julie Mayer) as well as her grandchildren Stéphane, Marc, Mélanie, Roxanne, Daniel, Renee, Michel, Christine, Julie, Keith and Kayla as well as 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.   She will be also missed by her sister Hélène (Rhéal Renaud) and her brother Gérard (Pierrette Martineau) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her daughter Colette and her siblings Léo (Diane Desjardins), Laurette (the late Gilbert Gauvreau), Yvette (Gerard Cantin), Jean-Guy (the late Gislaine)and Denise (the late Jacques Doucet).  She will be sadly missed by all.

A graveside service will take place Friday November 10th, 2023 at 11am at Notre Dame Cemetery, 455 Montreal Road, Ottawa.
