Maimu Nagy

We wish to share that our beloved mother, Maimu Nagy, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, January 8th, 2025. She was in the ICU at Michael Garron Hospital in East York, Ontario, Canada. She was fighting a brief illness while in hospital. She was 87 years of age. Her residence was still at her home of over 50 years in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. 

She is survived by her 2 daughters, grand sons and son in law. Michelle Irene Bowers (Nagy) and her husband Jamie Bowers, Susanna Kew Eva Nagy and her three children Jacob Donovan Joseph Nagy, Tristan Kane Nagy and Cayden Nagy. Her husband, Joseph Nagy had passed away in August 1996. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and god children. 

She was a fun loving person who spent her young years in the photography industry doing colour correction for several large photo finishing companies. She was very good with what she did. She also loved dancing and her and my father were quite the dance team. They were always the talk of the town at family gatherings for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. 

We will be receiving guests at the house on Sunday, January 12th, 2025 from 3pm until 8pm for a small Celebration of Life. If you require directions, please reach out to Susie or Michelle for them and they can provide them to you.
