It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Malcolm Rose, in his 77th year, on April 7th, 2016 at the Arnprior Memorial Hospital after a short illness with bone cancer. His passing was peaceful and painless with his wife, Pat, his daughter, Sarah, and his sister-in-law, Jane, at his side.
Malcolm was the beloved husband of Patricia (Ellison); cherished father of Sarah (Pasquale Nicastro) and Christopher; and the proud grandfather of Abby Rose, Hugo and Brandon. He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Jane and husband Dave; and his many nephews, nieces and friends.
The family is eternally grateful for the compassionate care provided by Drs Fitzsimon and Kurian and the wonderful nurses at the Arnprior Memorial Hospital and the caring team from St. Elizabeth's.
At his request there will be no funeral service. There will be a celebration of his life to be held at the Galetta Community Centre (Bowling Club), 119 Darwin Street, Galetta on Sunday April 17th at 2pm where relatives and friends are invited to gather to remember him.
