Marc Kennedy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marc Kennedy on Friday, June 28th, 2024 at the age of 83 from complications following treatment for a broken hip. Loving husband of Eva Mae Kennedy (née Moyer), father of Michael (Caroline) and David (Jennifer) and proud grandfather of Troy, Gabriel, Emily and Alice.

Son of the late Joseph and Paquerette (Michaud) Kennedy, he was born and raised in Rouyn-Noranda before moving to North Bay, Toronto and then to Ottawa, where he spent the majority of his life. Marc will be remembered as a dedicated Ottawa businessman who owned multiple companies, most notably Convenience Storage Ltd. which he built and then operated for over 40 years. He was a patient and fair man who took work seriously and passed along his strong work ethic to his sons.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life in memory of Marc will be held at Falcon Ridge Golf Course, 4740 High Road, Gloucester, Ontario, K1X 1B3. September, 20th @ 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to CHEO and Ottawa Hospital.
